Mickey & Minnie Thank You cards

Wow, it has been awhile since I last posted anything!!  Hopefully I will have a lot more things to post now that I celebrated my 30th birthday and received a TON of amazing paper crafting gifts from my wonderful family!!  My very own Cricut, a dream come true!! =)
Here are just a few quick thank you cards I made tonight to send to my family to thank them for their generosity.

Stationary Box

This is an idea I got from another blog.  I actually was directed to the original blog from another blogger that also recreated the idea!  I plan to get ahead on my cards for the year and store them in here until sent.
There is a small pocket to keep stamps in and I plan to use another for address labels.  The mini notebook I made contains all the holidays and events I need to make cards for broken down by month.
I think I'm going to make a small address book to go in here as well for those I most often send cards to.

Ladybug Card

Valentine Cards

I think these are my last two Valentine's day cards.


This one is on a wobble to give the heart some movement:

This one was very hard to photograph.  It's a piece of white paper embossed with chalk rubbed over the embossed area. 

S fold card

Well as I was looking around figuring out how many more Vday cards I need, I decided to make a 3rd S fold card so I can send all three to my nieces that are sisters. That way they all get the same type of card.

Wild For U 12x12 Layout

A layout for my niece's book.  She is wearing zebra print pants in the pics.  I want to cut a zebra from the Create a Critter cricut cartridge when I have a chance for the bottom right corner of the first page.

I printed the phrase on my computer with block letters and drew in the lines for the zebra print effect.  I'm pretty sure they sell stickers like this, I may even own some, but I didn't feel like looking and probably wouldn't of had the letters I needed.  This just seemed easier for me.

Obviously I've been scrapbooking today!! I think this one could use some more embellishments, probably from the Cricut, but this is all I had available today so it will do for now.

I finished this the other night and wasn't sure if I wanted to post pics, but why not?  This if for my parents.

I didn't share every page, there were a few more but they're very similar or have other kids in the pic that I don't feel comfortable sharing without their parents permission.

Well I did go ahead and emboss the blue mat and gave the piggie some flair.  I didn't print my sentiment but that's fine.  I tried to get a different view to show what a pedestal card is.

Thought I'd make a quick Valentine's day card tonight.
I made my first ever pedestal card and also finally used one of my action wobbles for the first time!

I rushed it and want to go back and tweak a few parts, like print the sentiment from the computer and I think I want to emboss the blue mat.  Also my piggie needs some bling!!  This will have to do for now though.
