Lego Man birthday card

Happy 8th Birthday to the sweetest, funniest, smartest, most wonderful boy I know...my son Jacob!! I love you to pieces and hope you have the best birthday ever!!   Today all the planning and preparation is put into action as my husband and I bravely host a lego themed party for our son and 19 of his closest friends!!
This is the card I made to go along with the theme.  I printed the lego man from the computer and hand cut around it, added a peachy keen face stamp and the happy birthday stamp to the shirt.  Super simple and cute!!

Lego candy

A party for 7 and 8 year olds has to include some candy.  I'm not really one to give candy for other events but this fit too perfectly that I couldn't pass it up.
Lego shaped candies that actually stack on top of one another like real legos!!  My son loves these...I think he plays with them more than he eats them.

I also ordered a mold from Amazon and melted the primary colors of candy melts I got half off at AC Moore to make up another candy treat for the goodie bags.

The labels were once again printed from my computer and hand cut...I did a lot of cutting for this party!!

Lego soap

I found this idea on Pinterest, I don't know who the originator is.  Just bought a clear hand soap, removed the label and added some legos!!  A fun touch for the party.

Lego keychain

My husband helped make these to put in the goodie bags.  He drilled a tiny hole on one end and I used about 6 jump rings to attach the keychain to the lego.  Super simple.

Lego Birthday party

My son is turning 8 on the 30th and decided on a Lego themed birthday party.

Goody Bag - just cut some circles with a punch and glued them on solid colored bags

Bought some MegaBlocks on clearance from AC Moore so each kid could leave with some "legos" to play with at home.  I printed the label from my computer and cut out by hand.
